If you are trying to make money online, you are no doubt offering some sort of product or products for sale. In this ongoing series of articles I will offer short ideas to increase your sales so you can make more money online.
Here are 10 more tips to increase sales for the products and services you offer in your home business:
1. Create instant rapport with your target audience by expressing the same views as your audience. Bring up common likes and dislikes in your ads.
2. Consider adding viral marketing to your promotional plans. Allow your visitors to give away your free stuff, just include your ad somewhere on all the freebies.
3. Design your website to be less confusing. Don’t use a lot of graphics, links or anything else that takes away from your sales message. The best sales page for any product is a page that has no outgoing links to anywhere else, except perhaps for the usual terms of service and contact page.
4. Your website visitors may not have the time to review your entire website at the time they visit. Give them the option of viewing your web site by autoresponder or printing it out. It is also a good idea to provide an “Add to Favorites” button.
5. Want to increase your opt-in email list quickly? Give away a product at no cost as long as people subscribe to your ezine in exchange.
6. Seek out joint ventures with offline businesses. Look for businesses that have the same target audience and create a win/win deal with them.
7. Expand your target audience by adding a new product line or packaging your main products with other ones. You could also add-on extra services.
8. People buy from people they like, so if you can persuade your visitors to like you, you will automatically be more trustworthy in their eyes. You could tell them a joke, give them a compliment, give them a freebie, etc.
9. Submit all the free stuff you offer to online freebie directories. These directories get tons of traffic, because people like to get things for free.
10. Always use headlines and sub headlines that are aimed directly at your audience. For example, if you’re selling things to real estate agents, use a headline like “Attention All Realtors!”.
